  1. Worship Lyrics for Zoom Gathering 2/14/21

Because of a very cold weather forecast and potentially icy and slick roadways, we will NOT hold services in our building this Sunday, Feb. 14th. Instead, we will hold a Zoom gathering. The link is available on our Realm community website. Below are the worship song lyrics for this online service.

    His Mercy is More

What love could remember no wrongs we have done
Omniscient, all-knowing, He counts not their sum
Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more!

Chorus:   Praise the Lord, His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness, new every morn
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more

What patience would wait as we constantly roam
What Father, so tender is calling us home
He welcomes the weakest, the vilest, the poor
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more (Chorus)

What riches of kindness He lavished on us
His blood was the payment, His life was the cost
We stood ‘neath a debt we could never afford
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more (Chorus)

    Great I Am

I want to stay close, close to Your side,
Where Heaven is near and death can’t a-bide,
I want to hear voices of angels above
    Singing as one

    Chorus:   Hallelujah, holy, holy
God Almighty, the Great I Am
Who is worthy, none beside Thee,
God Almighty, the Great I Am

I want to be near, near to Your heart,
Loving the world, a light in the dark
I want to see dry bones living again
    Singing as one   (Chorus)

Bridge: The mountains shake before You
    The demons run and flee
At the mention of Your name, King of majesty
There is no pow’r in hell or any who can stand
Before the power and the presence of the Great I Am,
    the Great I Am (3X)

    All Glory

Holy, Holy, You are God Almighty
And You reign victorious over all the earth
Holy, Holy, You are God Almighty
Yes, You reign victorious over all the earth

Chorus:   Let Your Kingdom come, and Your will be done
Here on earth as it is in hea – ven
And to Your renown hear our hearts cry out
    Singing “Holy is the Lord”

God of Glory, see Your victory story
In the lives of those who gather at the cross
Rock of ages, be adorned with praises
As Your people raise their voice in thanks and love (Chorus)

Bridge:   All Glory, all Honor, all wisdom strength and power
All Glory, all honor, are Yours alone, forever

Before the Throne of God Above

Before the throne of God above, I have a strong, a perfect plea
A great High Priest whose name is Love, who ever lives and pleads for me
My name is graven on His hands, My name is written on His heart
I know that while in heav’n He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart, no tongue can bid me thence depart

When Satan tempts me to despair, and tells me of the guilt within
Upward I look and see Him there, who made an end to all my sin
Because the sinless Savior died, my sinful soul is counted free
For God, the Just, is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me, to look on Him and pardon me

Behold Him there, the risen Lamb, my perfect, spotless Righteousness
The great unchangeable I AM, the King of glory and of grace!
One with Himself, I cannot die – My soul is purchased with His blood
My life is hid with Christ on high,
With Christ, my Savior and my God, With Christ, my Savior and my God

    Be the Centre

    Jesus, be the centre
Be my source, be my light, Jesus

    Jesus, be the centre
Be my hope, be my song, Jesus

Be the fire in my heart
Be the wind in these sails
Be the reason that I live – Jesus, Jesus

    Jesus, be my vision
Be my path, be my guide, Jesus

  2. Judges – Overview

  3. What is Christian Marriage?

    What is Christian Marriage?

Paul interjected a Christ filled view into the world.Ephesians.5:21-24

    Submission is very specific here.

There are 9 verses for the husband,3 verses for the wives.

    Ephesians 5:22-27

    Husbands give up your life.

Wives should submit freely on their own.  Wives should choose to submit.  Husbands can not demand it.Husbands make it hard for wives to submit.Submissions is a gift.Submission can not be earned.Only Christ can demand submission. It is always a gift to each other.  Submission is not deserved.

This all is a great and joyful teaching.  It is precious.

How did Christ love the church.  He gave his life.  Husbands should do the same.

  4. What About The Tithe?

    Giving or Tithing

There is a great deal of confusion around this subject.

    Matthew 23:23-24

23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. 24 You blind guides, straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel!

It’s not about tithing.  We are not under the law.  It’s about the relationship.  Giving is just a part of the relationship.

He loved you before you turned and said “yes”

  5. Earn All You Can. Save All You Can. Give All You Can.

Earn all you can. Save all you can. Give all you can.  Charles Wesley.

Set up a budget and live by it.

Simplicity: develops the spiritual discipline of simplicity.

Lust of things is deadly to the spirit of God

    Mat. 6:31:33

31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Reject anything that is producing an addiction in you

    Give stuff away.

Learn to enjoy things without owning them.

Getting rid of everything that doesn’t matter allows you to remember who you are

Earn all you can. Save all you can. Give all you can.

Giving is a joy.  We will be blessed and be able to bless others.

By giving stuff away I can learn to trust God, who is the most generous.

Applied atheism is working 7 days a week.  God is my resource.  Take a sabbath.

Ask God what do give your money to.  He will help you.

I want to bless my kids and grandkids.

I want to be able to help my friends.

I want to be able to help the poor.

I want to be able to help Hope Chapel and Hope Missionaries.

Without a vision people parish.  A vision for our funds. Give all you can.  Write a budget and stick by it.

    Randy Alcorn.   Cheerful giver.

Are you a chicken or a pig giver.  Pig is fully committed chicken is not.

  6. Work: A Biblical Perspective

There are twice as many disengaged workers as there are engaged workers.
    God Himself is a Worker.
God calls us to co-labor with Him.
We honor God with our work.
