Our annual lemonade stand is back! We’ll be set up during the first Summer Fun Night
June 11 – Stand opens at 5pm
Proceeds benefit our local non profit friend, Foster Village.
Foster Village provides practical resources and support to foster and reunified families in Austin.
We hope to see you there!
If you are interested in manning the stand with FAM please reach out to Mandy!
It’s a really fun activity for a family to do together or for adults without kiddos to sit back and hang out. Anyone is welcome! Additionally, if you’d like to provide resources for us – donating lemonade/snacks/etc – we’d love that kind of help too!
Come spend time with us and hang out with the FAM!
Mondays, Aug. 18-Dec. 8, 6:30-9:30 PM at Hope Chapel
Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is a comprehensive 15-lesson discipleship/education course rooted in the Scriptures; it’s a multi-faceted learning experience that clarifies each believer’s remarkable opportunity to join God in His global purpose to reach every people group for His glory. The Hope Chapel community began taking the class over 40 years ago and Perspectives has shaped our focus of global outreach.
Registration is now open! Register before July 25 for a $30 Early Bird discount and a $50 Family discount. We are also offering scholarships for Church Leaders and High School/College Students. You are welcome to check out Lessons 1 and 2 for free. Register and/or find out more HERE
Please join us after service on June 22 to hear from our special guests and friends, Steve and Mariam. They have awesome stories to share of how God is moving in that part of the world.
RSVPs are highly encouraged, but don’t let that keep you from joining!
We say we trust Him with our mouths, but often not with our lives. We live like God can’t be trusted. Like He doesn’t actually want what is best for us. Like He is just another person who, as Eve assumed in the Garden all those years ago, might hold out on us. Bestselling author Jackie Hill Perry, in her much anticipated follow-up to “Gay Girl, Good God,” helps us find the reason we don’t trust God—we misunderstand His holiness. In “Holier Than Thou,” Jackie walks us through Scripture, shaking the dust off of “holy” as we’ve come to know it and revealing it for what it really is. In these pages, we will see that God is not like us. He is different. He is holy. And that’s exactly what makes Him trustworthy. As it turns out, God being “holier than thou” is actually the best news in the world, and it’s the key to trusting Him.
