    Happy Day

The greatest day in history, death is beaten, You have rescued me
Sing it out, Jesus is alive!
The empty cross, the empty grave, Life eternal, You have won the day
Shout it all, Jesus is alive! He´s alive!

Chorus: Oh happy day, happy day – You washed my sin away
Oh happy day, happy day – I’ll never be the same
    Forever I am changed

When I stand, in that place, free at last, meeting face to face
I am Yours, Jesus, You are mine
Endless joy, perfect peace, earthly pain finally will cease
Celebrate Jesus is alive! He’s alive!

Bridge: Oh what a glorious day, what a glorious way, That You have saved me
Oh what a glorious day, what a glorious name!

    Christ is Risen

Let no one caught in sin remain, inside the lie of inward shame
But fix our eyes upon the cross, and run to Him who showed great love
And bled for us, freely You’ve bled for us

Chorus:  Christ is risen from the dead, Trampling over death by death
Come awake, come awake! Come and rise up from the grave!
Christ is risen from the dead, We are one with Him again
Come awake come awake! Come and rise up from the grave!

Beneath the weight of all our sin You bowed to none but heaven’s will
No scheme of hell no scoffer’s crown, no burden great can hold You down
In strength You reign, forever let Your church proclaim

Bridge:  O death, where is your sting? O hell, where is your victory?
O church, come stand in the light! The glory of God has defeated the night!
Singing, O death, where is your sting? O hell, where is your victory?
O church come stand in the light! Our God is not dead! He’s alive! He’s alive!

    O Praise the Name

I cast my mind to Calvary, where Jesus bled and died for me
I see His wounds His hands His feet, my Savior on that cursed tree

His body bound and drenched in tears, they laid Him down in Joseph’s tomb
The entrance sealed by heavy stone, Messiah still and all alone

Chorus: O praise the Name of the Lord our God, O praise His Name forevermore
For endless days we will sing Your praise, Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

Then on the third at break of dawn, the Son of heaven rose again
O trampled death, where is your sting? The angels roar for Christ the King!

He shall return in robes of white, the blazing sun shall pierce the night
And I will rise among the saints, my gaze transfixed on Jesus’ face

    Forever (We Sing Hallelujah)

The moon and stars they wept, the morning sun was dead,
The Savior of the world was fallen
His body on the cross, His blood poured out for us
The weight of every curse upon Him

One final breath He gave, as heaven looked away
The Son of God was laid in darkness
A battle in the grave, the war on death was waged
The power of hell forever broken

Pre-Chorus:  The ground began to shake, the stone was rolled away
His perfect love could not be overcome
Now death, where is your sting?
Our resurrected King has rendered you defeated

    Chorus: Forever He is glorified
    Forever He is lifted high
    Forever He is risen
He is alive, He is alive!

Bridge:  We sing hallelujah we sing hallelujah
We sing hallelujah, the Lamb has overcome!

And now death, where is your sting?
    Our resurrected King has overcome
    He’s overcome, oh

Christ the Lord is Risen Today

Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth, reply, Alleluia!

Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Once He died our souls to save, Alleluia!
Where thy victory, O grave? Alleluia!

Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids His rise, Alleluia!
    Christ hath opened paradise, Alleluia!

Soar we now where Christ hath led, Alleluia!
    Following our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!

Yes. You reign victorious over all the earth

Chorus: Let Your Kingdom come, let Your will be done, Here on Earth as it is in Heaven
And to Your renown hear our hearts cry out, Singing “Holy is the Lord!”

In the lives of those who gather at the cross
Rock of ages, be adorned with praises
As Your people raise their voice in thanks and love

All glory, all honor are Yours alone forever

All glory, all honor, all wisdom, strength and power

    Our God

Water You turned into wine, Opened the eyes of the blind
There’s no one like You, None like You
Into the darkness You shine, Out of the ashes we rise
There’s no one like You, None like You

Chorus:  Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer, awesome in power – our God, our God

Bridge:  And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us, then what could stand against?
And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us, then what could stand against?
    What could stand against?

    Hosanna (Praise is Rising)

Praise is rising, eyes are turning to You – We turn to You
Hope is stirring, hearts are yearning for You – We long for You

You are the God who saves us, worthy of all our praises
    Hosanna, hosanna
Come have Your way among us; we welcome You here, Lord Jesus

Hear the sound of hearts returning to You – We turn to You
In Your Kingdom broken lives are made new – You make us new

    The Lord Reigns

The Lord reigns, let the people shout
    He reigns in righteousness
Let the heavens be glad, let the earth rejoice
The Lord reigns, let the people clap their hands
Angels shout, the redeemed have come to dance
To celebrate, to celebrate, He reigns

Chorus:  The Lord reigns, the Lord reigns
The Lord reigns, we will sing and shout
    You reign, You reign
You reign, forever King of all

Bridge:  Let all the people sing of Your awesome pow’r in all the earth
Let darkness tremble at Your Name
Why do the nations rage when the King is on His throne?
Now and forever You will reign

    Be Unto Your Name

We are a moment, You are forever
Lord of the ages, God before time
We are a vapor, You are eternal
    Love everlasting, reigning on high

Chorus:   Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
    Highest praises, honor and glory
Be unto Your name, Be unto Your name

We are the broken, You are the healer
    Jesus, Redeemer, mighty to save
You are the love song we’ll sing forever

    Taste and See

O taste and see that the Lord is good
O taste and see that the Lord is good to me
You have turned my mourning into dancing
Put off my rags and clothed me with gladness
And I will arise and I will praise You
I’ll sing and not be silent

Chorus: O Lord my God I will give thanks to You forever
O Lord my God I will give thanks to You
    We bless You Lord

Bridge: I will live only for You
I will lift these hands up to You
    I will dance before You
I will shout it I will shout it to You

    King of Kings

In the darkness we were waiting, Without hope without light
Till from Heaven You came running, There was mercy in Your eyes
To fulfill the law and prophets, To a virgin came the Word
From a throne of endless glory, To a cradle in the dirt

Chorus:  Praise the Father, Praise the Son
Praise the Spirit three in one
    God of Glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of kings

To reveal the kingdom coming, And to reconcile the lost
To redeem the whole creation, You did not despise the cross
For even in Your suffering, You saw to the other side
Knowing this was our salvation, Jesus, for our sake You died

And the morning that You rose, All of heaven held its breath
Till that stone was moved for good, For the Lamb had conquered death
And the dead rose from their tombs, And the angels stood in awe
For the souls of all who’d come, To the Father are restored

And the Church of Christ was born, Then the Spirit lit the flame
Now this Gospel truth of old, Shall not kneel shall not faint
By His blood and in His Name, In His freedom I am free
For the love of Jesus Christ, Who has resurrected me

Tag: Praise forever to the King of kings

    Here I Am to Worship

Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes, let me see
Beauty that made this heart adore You
Hope of a life spent with You

Chorus:  So here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You’re my God
And You’re altogether lovely, Altogether worthy
    Altogether wonderful to me

King of all days, Oh, so highly exalted
    Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came to the earth You created
All for love’s sake became poor

Bridge: And I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross (2X)

    I Stand Amazed

I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene
And wonder how He could love me, a sinner condemned, unclean

Chorus:  How marvelous how wonderful, And my song shall ever be
How marvelous how wonderful, Is my Savior’s love for me

He took my sins and my sorrows, He made them His very own
He bore the burden to Calvary and suffered and died alone

And with the ransomed in glory, His face I at last shall see
It will be my joy through the ages to sing of His love for me

     Be Unto Your Name

We are a moment, You are forever
Lord of the ages, God before time
We are a vapor, You are eternal
    Love everlasting, reigning on high

Chorus:   Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
    Highest praises, honor and glory
Be unto Your name, Be unto Your name

We are the broken, You are the healer
    Jesus, Redeemer, mighty to save
You are the love song we’ll sing forever
Bowing before You, blessing Your name

  5. Women of Hope Retreat 2021 – “B.E. – Bent on Eternity!”

Women of Hope Retreat 2021 – “B.E.”, Bent on Eternity!

Friday, April 23 – Sunday, April 25 @ Jordan Ranch

What is WOH Retreat? Glad you asked! Retreat is a time for women who attend Hope Chapel or are connected to Hope through friendship or family to get a way from our regular routines. Our purpose is to create an inviting atmosphere in which women can seek God and build relationships.

God is calling his bride to attention: what is He asking you to lay down? Who do you need to forgive? What selfish behaviors is he asking you to surrender? None of this is easy, but it is entirely necessary to follow hard after Him. The times we are living in, as we’ve been reminded in our study of Judges, are not new or different to the LORD. He is asking us to be involved in what He is doing, establishing HIS KINGDOM.

Let’s come together and bend our knees before the King, and B.E. bent on eternity.

Matthew 6:9-15 “Let your kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven….”

    Retreat Registration

    $175/person, triple occupancy / $225/person, double occupancy / $435/person, single occupancy

Go to REALM WOH REGISTRATION to register! Contact Celeste Adams with any registration questions or if you are in need of a partial scholarship.

  6. Ezekiel: Call and Commission

Ezekiel’s call and commision. We can learn from Ezekiel’s call.

Disciple Making is the mission of the church.  We have the privilege of worshipping God.  We are invited to join Him in mission.

    Ezekiel 2:1–10

    Ezekiel’s Call

And he said to me, c“Son of man,1 dstand on your feet, and I will speak with you.” And as he spoke to me, ethe Spirit entered into me and fset me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me. And he said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the people of Israel, to gnations of rebels, who have rebelled against me. hThey and their fathers have transgressed against me to this very day. The descendants also are iimpudent and stubborn: I send you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’ And jwhether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are ga rebellious house) kthey will know that a prophet has been among them. And you, son of man, lbe not afraid of them, nor be afraid of their words, mthough briers and thorns are with you and you sit on nscorpions.2 Be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house. And you shall speak my words to them, jwhether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house.

“But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. oBe not rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and peat what I give you.” And when I looked, behold, qa hand was stretched out to me, and behold, ra scroll of a book was in it. 10 And he spread it before me. And it had writing son the front and on the back, and there were written on it words of lamentation and mourning and woe.
