  3. Children’s Baptism Classes Coming in May

    Hello Parents of Hope!

If your child has been asking about being baptized this year, please plan on attending two classes with Matt Ryniker and Hala Tompkins. Class One is on Wednesday, May 14 and Class Two is on Wednesday, May 28. Both classes will begin at 6pm and end no later than 730. Our annual baptism Sunday is scheduled for Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Our baptism classes are designed for children aged eight and older and are meant to help parents and kids determine together if this is the right year for baptism. Because of this, parents are asked to attend class with their child both weeks.

Let Hala know if you have any kid-related questions. Adults who would like to be baptized should simply contact Pastor Matt. He will be happy to talk with you!

Childcare is provided by reservation, Sign up for the classes and childcare by emailing halatompkins@hopemail.org.

  4. Women of Hope Spring Books & Breakfast Thursdays

Join the Women of Hope for Thursday breakfast and Esther, a study by Kelly Minter:

A beautiful queen, her courageous cousin, a foreign land, and a murderous adversary—the book of Esther has all the elements of an epic drama. Join us for this 7-session study, where we will look at the daring faith modeled by Esther and her cousin Mordecai—a faith developed over time, rooted in the goodness of God, lived out through extraordinary circumstances, and used to change the world. Although our time looks different from Esther’s, our God is just as active and faithful today, and He has called you for such a time as this.

Dates: Thursdays, February 6th – March 27th (Not meeting March 20th for Spring Break)
    Time: 9:30-11:30am
    Location: Upstairs Den, Hope Chapel

Childcare for 5th grade and under available until full

    Sign up here today!

  5. Host Home Information Dinner

Join Mandy on Feb 28th from 6pm – 7:30pm at Hope (during Family Night) for dinner and great conversation! We will plan to explore the topic of becoming a Safe Families Host Home – these singles, roommates or families open their homes to host a child/children for short, predetermined lengths of time (on average 4-6 weeks).

This short hosting allows caregivers time and space to secure resources for themselves to prevent their children entering fostercare. The goal of host homes is to strengthen vulnerable families in our community and offer the hope of Christ through hospitality and friendship.

Come learn more and meet our guests the Oberski family, who have been a Safe Families host home since 2016!

Dinner and childcare provided. Please RSVP to Mandy

    aryniker@gmail.com by Feb 18th.
