Conversation with Rabbi Dan
May 19th, 2024 ›Hope Chapel has a unique opportunity to develop friendship with a local Jewish synagogue. Rabbi Daniel Millner is rabbi of Congregation Tiferet Israel. On Wednesday, July 10th, Rabbi Dan will join us to preach from Genesis on the topic of God’s favor on Abraham. Pastor Matt has been invited to go to his synagogue at a later date to do something similar. We look forward to a growing relationship with our Jewish neighbors.
Many American Jews have recently experienced a growing anxiety related to feeling alone, isolated and friendless due to current events and negative attitudes related to Israel and Jewishness in general. Many have reported losing friendships due to a sudden spike of political animosity. Hope Chapel has the opportunity to bring glory to God and support to neighbors by meeting this felt need relationally.
