What's new at Hope.

  1. FAM All Call

FAM is hosting an evening with dinner and childcare in order to hear from you. We want to know how God is moving and what you feel He may be calling you to. We also want to share with you some upcoming classes and plans for FAM.

Do you feel a call to serve families in our community in crisis and help prevent them from entering the foster care system? Are you contemplating foster care or adoption any time in the future? Are you looking for ways to engage that are lower commitment than signing up for foster care? Do you have no idea how you may fit in but for some reason feel drawn towards FAM?

Come join us for dinner and conversation as we explore upcoming ways FAM plans to engage with the Austin community and at Hope Chapel in the coming year. You’ll hear from us, and we want to hear from you. Join us!

  2. MOPS Play Date

Join MOPS@Hope for fun on the Hope Chapel playground, starting at 10am.

  3. Graduation 2023!

We’re going to celebrate our high school seniors. Contact Evan Ott for details.

  4. Children’s Baptism Class

    Dear Parents,

Two baptism classes (taught by Pastor Matt)  are scheduled for Saturday, Saturday, May 20 (9:30-11am) and Saturday, June 4, (9:30-11am). If your child has expressed interest in being baptized this year, please plan on attending these classes. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend with their children. Childcare will be provided by contacting Hala.

The baptism service will be on June 11. This service will be followed by an outdoor water fun day on our playground, as is our custom.

We’ve designed the baptism classes to help parents decide whether or not their children are ready for baptism. If you are unsure about whether or not this is the right year, class number one will help you decide.

Adults who would like to be baptized should simply contact Pastor Matt. He will be happy to talk with you!

Let Hala know if you have any kid-related questions!

  5. Women’s Summer Books & Breakfast

What’s So Spiritual About Your Gifts? A book study by Henry and Mel Blackaby

Truly understood and embraced, the Holy Spirit’s gifts allow the Church to be Christ-centered, to maintain unity and oneness of heart, and to practice genuine, powerful love. Surprises are in store when we explore biblically what spiritual gifts really are, how they fit with our natural strengths and talents, and how they match our calling and assignments from God. What’s So Spiritual About your Gifts will help restore the Holy Spirit to the center of your understanding and practice of spiritual gifts and set you free to serve God as never before.
