What's new at Hope.

  1. Lessons and Carols Dress Rehearsal

Kids from ages 3 through fifth grade are encouraged to attend this dress rehearsal. Parents of elementary kids can drop them off and come back by 11 AM. Parents of preschoolers should plan on staying to help with crowd control, etc. Contact Hala if you have questions.

  2. Christmas Eve Service at 5:00 PM

Invite a friend, coworker, or neighbor now for the Christmas Eve Service at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.

Come dressed for photos in front of the tree or bring the kids in pajamas. Invite your family and friends to sing the carols and hear the story once again of when Hope came as a human and lived among us.

Then stand in the darkness as the first candle is lit and see the glow slowly spread across the room, candle to candle. Until at last, enveloped in the glow, we remember when The Light came into the world and pierced the darkness.

  3. Soup-er Bowl soup lunch

Come for lunch and help support Imagine Art! Lunch will be served following both morning services. You can purchase a handcrafted ceramic bowl, made by one of the artists of Imagine Art, then enjoy unlimited refills of homemade soup! All proceeds benefit Imagine Art’s daily lunch program that feeds the artists with disabilities in the community. Tickets are $10 & up, at the door.

  4. IF Gathering 2

Ladies, join with thousands of women around the world as we look into The Promises of God. We’re so excited to have you join us at this event. We can’t wait to gather together and see the incredible ways God is moving and using each of you to gather, equip and unleash women in Austin. Get more information HERE.

  6. Marathon Water Stop #12

Will you join us this year? Please sign up on the official volunteer website HERE or cut and paste this into your browser: bit.ly/2015Marathon. If you sign up by Monday, February 2nd, you will get a FREE volunteer shirt from the Austin Marathon folks! (You may sign up right up until the day before the event, but you will not receive a T-shirt.)

We are thrilled to be running a water stop for the Austin Marathon again this year! This is our largest church-wide outreach opportunity where we literally give a cup of cold water (or Gatorade!) to a person in need (Matthew 10:42). Not to mention that it is tons of FUN!!
