What's new at Hope.

  1. Lopata Art Exhibit Closing / 8 Minutes Max

A combined evening of visual art, poetry and musical performances! Join us in recognizing our wonderful Artist-In-Residence, Audrey Lopata as she completes her residency.  We will be treated to the opportunity to hear Audrey speak on her work, be regaled by several musical and poetic performers, and dine on wondrous reception-style desserts and cheeses. Don’t miss it!

  2. Congregational Gathering

This is our twice-yearly gathering to receive updates on finances from senior leadership and hear about Hope Chapel’s future.  It is also a GREAT place to come and ask questions about Hope.

Child care available by reservation; RSVP for child care by 5:00 PM Sunday, Sept. 28th.

We regret that the deadline to RSVP has passed.

  3. One 10:00 AM Service on October 19th

The Women’s Retreat is this weekend and there will be fewer of us than normal so we’re meeting all together at 10:00 a.m. this Sunday, no 11:11 a.m. service. Kid’s classes begin at the beginning of the service and there are no Hope 101 classes this Sunday.

  4. CPR/First Aid Training

CPR and First Aid Training at Hope Chapel with CPR-Resources of Austin

    • This class includes infant, child and adult CPR and first aid. It also includes Automated Defibrillator (AED) instruction at no extra charge.
    • Upon completion of the class, you will receive certification cards for CPR and First Aid. Both cards are valid for 2 years. Please note that the SIDS/SBS cards are only valid for one year.
    • If you need CPR certification ONLY, you may attend just the first portion of the class (2 hours).
    • This class is open to the public, the cost is $25 and preregistration is not necessary.
  5. Kindness Outreach Canceled

    Dearly Beloved Hope-folk,

Due to the forecasted 100% chance for inclement weather tomorrow, Saturday, November 22nd, we are CANCELING our planned grocery-bag giveaway.

We will re-schedule this outreach for later in the year as we approach the Christmas holidays.

We are asking those who have planned to bring filled bags to the building tomorrow to simply wait until Sunday and just bring them to church. We will collect and store them for our future kindness outreach.

    I appreciate your understanding,

  6. Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection Day

Sunday, November 23, is the last day to bring your filled shoe boxes to Hope Chapel and have us deliver them to the drop off point for you.

Bring your filled shoe boxes to Hope any Sunday in November and leave them in the collection bin under the Operation Christmas Child display in the foyer or near the coffee shop. We’ll make sure they are delivered safely and on time.

If you aren’t sure how to pack a shoebox or how to pay for the shipping, just go HERE. You’ll find all the information you need.
