What's new at Hope.
Our friends have finally made it back stateside after quite a long Covid lockdown in Asia, and they are so excited to be with us! Even if you’re new to Hope, or don’t remember them, I encourage you to stay after the service Oct 24 to hear some encouraging and hopeful God stories.
As always, lunch will be provided. RSVPs are greatly appreciated, especially if you have food allergies.

Make plans now to participate on the Saturday before Halloween, October 30, as Hope Chapel hosts another iteration of our Makers Market event. Artists and crafts-people of all kinds will bring their hand-made wares for sale. There will be lots of fun things going on including balloon-twisting, face-painting, and live music. Food vendors will also be on hand with lovely offerings for lunch and beyond. The event will run from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. In the case of inclement weather, we will move everyone inside the building.

This event will be our quarterly Heart-to-Heart event and it’s going to be great for you gals who keep saying you’d love to get to know more women at Hope. And for you ladies who need a night away from putting them babies to bed or you ladies who need a break from studying for exams! Truly, this will be a light-hearted evening where we hope you walk out knowing a few girls… and being known by a few… a little better than you did when you walked in.
Come join us for an easy-but-yummy Taco Salad Potluck Dinner and some fun! All women are invited.

The greatest values we share as Christians are spiritual: eternal life, true friendship, and following Jesus. But, we must carry those values into a physical world that values money, wealth and power above all else.
On November 20th in the main auditorium from 8AM to Noon, Hope Chapel is hosting: Money, Wealth and God with Hopite, Bob O’Dell. All are welcome to come and hear him share some lessons God has taught him over many years:
• How to think about money and wealth, and wealthy people.
• Exposing the traps of lack vs. plenty, poverty vs. power
• How to find joy in your physical journey with the God who already owns the earth and its fullness.
Breakfast tacos for participants from 8 to 8:15AM. Because of the interactive format, we’re not livestreaming the event.

The Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Young Adult class meets weekly to hear a teaching and discuss a portion of Scripture. If you are between the ages of 18-35, you are welcome to join us! Please just come or reach out to Suzi Raines, suzi_deanne@hotmail.com if you have any questions!
