What's new at Hope.

  1. Makers Market

Our Maker’s Market Festival is Saturday, Oct. 12th! It’s HopeArts’ and Hope Chapel’s indoor/outdoor art market and festival, with taco truck, bouncy house, activities and games, and so much more! Invite and bring your friends and neighbors and their kids from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

We’ll be showcasing works for sale by creative people in the HopeArts and greater community. Featuring artists, crafters, and makers of all kinds. Portions of sales and booth rentals go to support the HopeArts’ Ministry. Donations also accepted!

    RESERVE BOOTH SPACE TODAY!
There’s still time to reserve booth space – check here for details: HopeArts.org (indoor and outdoor space: $35 per vendor).

  2. PMJ Reading Group

This is a group of folks gathering to discus their reading of Mark Kinzer’s book Post-Missionary Messianic Judaism and various other works on the subject.  Geno is hosting this reading group which will meet occasionally at Hope Chapel.

  3. MOPS Moms Night

MOPS members only please. We are making holiday cards in the Den from 7-8:30pm. Space is limited to 15, so RSVP to Hala soon.

Childcare is not provided for this event.

  4. Gifts Night – A Less Stressed, More Blessed Night!

Dust out your amazing talents for Gifts Night for Friday, November 8th from 7:00-8:30 PM. It doesn’t have to be perfect; it’s a variety show in which you provide the variety.

    What Gifts Can I Share?
Poetry, stand-up, art, songs, dramatic readings, comedy skits, dance, stand up, and LOTS of silliness!

    What will you do?
It’s license to do something crazy, fun, and outrageous or to showcase a hidden talent that you have that your friends like! THINK: what can I do that will help people be less stressed or more blessed?

    What It’s Not?
Your first piano recital. Something randomly thrown together that wouldn’t have been entertaining even with rehearsal. Go with a basic skill level (juggling while eating an apple) or something funny/entertaining that doesn’t need much skill (your Hope Group‘s cheerleading cheer).

    Who Can Sign Up?
Hope Groups (youth group included) are encouraged to do a song or skit together (and you can include kids). Solo acts are welcome. Sign up with Cathy Tucek. Please let her know what your planned presentation/gift is and how long it is (max. 5 min.: solo acts, a multi-person skit: 10 min.).

Set the date aside to continue an old Hope tradition from 1978-present.

  5. Women’s Heart 2 Heart Cooking Class

The Holy, Wonderful, and sometimes overwhelming Holidays are upon us! Ladies lets get together for a cooking class, great convo, and friendship building.

Our very own Chef Abigail Wilkinson will be teaching us some handy tricks to feed the ones we love on these Holy Holidays! Cost is $5/woman and includes hands on learning, eating, and chatting.
