Gift’s Night

It’s this Wednesday! It’s at 6:30PM! And it’s kid friendly. 13 Hopites have prepared a song or reading or skit and a few surprises for us to enjoy! People ages 9 to 67 are performing so come watch your friends and – soon to be friends – on this very stage entertain us with their gifts.

Silliness to seriousness silliness in a less stressed, more blessed night of fun!

This is a fun event to invite people to enjoy. We have a lot of talented people at Hope. Come enjoy them!

Hope Prayer Room Training for worship leaders, May 19 at 9AM

Did you know that there is a Prayer Room in Austin dedicated to worshiping Jesus, enjoying His presence and praying for Austin?  The Hope Prayer Room is housed in the ADRN headquarters on East 51st street. Hope Chapel has a history of worship and prayer for Austin in large part through our participation with Thomas and Amy Cogdell who led the Austin House of Prayer.  Now we have opportunity to again participate in this great effort by connecting with the Austin Prayer Room. Once again we have relational connection, through Melissa and Colin Dwyer who are members of Hope and also on staff at the Austin Prayer Room.

We have invited APR to come to Hope Chapel and train our worship leaders and worship teams to lead worship at the Austin Prayer Room.  Geno, Jack and I are on board. Mark your calendars to join us on May 19 from 9am til 2pm. This training is a prerequisite for worship leaders to lead worship at the Prayer Room, but is open to anyone.   Let’s press in to be part of seeing more worship and prayer in and for the city of Austin!  For His glory and for the good of our city!  Let us know if you are planning to come.

Ashley & Carnie Wedding

Ashley Witt and Carnie Littlefield, Jr. will be marrying on Saturday, June 9.  The ceremony will be held in the Hope Chapel sanctuary.  The reception will be held elsewhere.

Ages 9 and older are welcome!  We will work and play and sing to the glory of our Great God.  Our staff of seasoned worship leaders and experienced music educators are devoted to helping our students grow in their musical gifts and in their relationship to God through musical worship.  It is a rich two weeks which culminates in a student-led worship time when friends and family are invited to join in.

Registration cost is $300.

SW Camp Later This Summer

We will also have a south N2W camp later in the summer at Austin Oaks:  July 30-August 10, 9am-noon @ 4220 Monterey Oaks Blvd, Austin 78749 (near Mopac and William Cannon).

Cost is $275 if you sign up by July 20.

All City Prayer and Worship at Planetshakers

Come Thursday, July 12th at 7pm for an evening of worship and prayer with churches from all over Greater Austin sponsored by Austin’s Unceasing Prayer Movement (the same group we join on 3rd Fridays in covering the City of Austin in prayer).

Planetshakers will lead us in worship. And pastors, leaders, and believers from across our city will contend together for a Jesus Awakening for Greater Austin! See you on July 12th at Austin Planetshakers at 1101 Reinli St Austin, TX 78723 (former location of Austin Cornerstone Church).
