What's new at Hope.

  1. Saturday Night Service

Since the Austin Marathon is on Sunday morning and we’re participating in our water stop, our Sunday weekend worship service has been moved to Saturday night, February 18th, at 5:30PM

HopeKids’ classes will begin after worship this evening.

  2. Official Water Stop for Austin Marathon

We’re doing it again! We get to host an Official Water Stop for the Austin Marathon. Once again it will be in front of Journey Church, just a hop, skip, and jump away from Hope. Park at Hope and walk over to 7500 Woodrow Ave. As always, we’ll have two shifts: early from 7:00-11:00a and late from 10:30a-1:30p.

  3. Palm Sunday

Join us for Sunday service at 10AM or 5:30PM.

A Christian celebration of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

From the New Testament, the Gospel (Good News) of Matthew, Chapter 21:

“The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,

“Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Hosanna to the Son of David!’

‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’

    ‘Hosanna in the highest heaven!’

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, ‘Who is this?’

The crowds answered, ‘This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.’ ”

  4. Sunday Morning Service

Sundays at Hope Chapel are relaxed, family-style gatherings where everyone is welcome and appreciated. We start with worship (singing) and end with solid Biblical teaching. Children’s classes are available during this service.

  5. Good Friday Service

This beautiful and poignant service includes music and meditations on the seven sayings of Jesus at His crucifixion. Each year seven Hopites share on each of these last words on the cross.

Our friends sharing this year are:

    Steve Allen

    Kevin Daniel

    Ann Gray

    Denise Hance

    Kathy Keepers

    Mandy Oban

    Ben Ponder

We regret that the deadline has now passed to reserve child care.
