What's new at Hope.

  1. Citywide Worship and Prayer at Planetshakers

    Community Updates

Come Thursday, July 12th at 7pm for an amazing evening of worship and prayer with churches from all over Greater Austin sponsored by Austin’s Unceasing Prayer Movement (the same group we join on 3rd Fridays in covering the City of Austin in prayer).

Planetshakers will lead us in worship, and pastors, leaders, and believers from across our city will contend together for a Jesus Awakening for Greater Austin! See you on July 12th at Austin Planetshakers at 1101 Reinli St Austin, TX 78723 (former location of Austin Cornerstone Church).

  2. Gift’s Night • Wednesday, 6:30PM • Less Stressed, More Blessed Night!

    Community Updates

It’s this Wednesday! It’s at 6:30PM! And it’s kid friendly. 13 Hopites have prepared a song or reading or skit and a few surprises for us to enjoy! People ages 9 to 67 are performing so come watch your friends and – soon to be friends – on this very stage entertain us with their gifts.

Silliness to seriousness silliness in a less stressed, more blessed night of fun!

This is a fun event to invite people to enjoy. We have a lot of talented people at Hope. Come enjoy them!

  3. Congregational Meeting Tonight, Wednesday, 25APR at 6:30PM

    Community Updates

This is our twice-yearly gathering to receive updates on finances, our building renovation process, and future plans.  It is also a GREAT place to come and ask questions about Hope.

The building remodel is in progress! Come learn what is happening on the renovation schedule. Scott McDonald will bring a full report on all things construction-related. Geno Hildebrandt will bring everyone up to date on how the project is being funded. Suzi Raines will tell us about the finishes planned for the interior. Please come and bring your questions.

  6. The loss of our dear one, Sandy Winn

    Community Updates

    sandy-ron-and-the-boys

Our extraordinary and deeply loved Sandy Winn passed away today. She had suffered a stroke on Tuesday afternoon and a brain hemorrhage later that evening. A note today from her son, Brian, Thursday, October 27th, “At 11:25 a.m., Mom went to be with the Lord! Dad, Scott, Roger and I released her and Our Heavenly Father has welcomed her into His arms. She went quickly and peacefully. We thank all for the abundance of love and support from so so many of her friends.”

We will post funeral details as we get them here for our Hope family and the myriad of others that she has loved from church families in Austin and around the globe. Please check hope.org for information on the time and date of the services, the care calendar, and other relevant details. We will also post this information on Facebook.

Please continue to pray for the grace, comfort, and stamina needed for the family as they make decisions and prepare for the service. Our Good, Good Father, the Holy Spirit, and our brother, Jesus are with them all.

May the Lord comfort each of you who are experiencing the profound loss of our dear Mama Sandy.
