What's new at Hope.

  1. Sunday Morning Livestream on April 19th at 10:00 AM

    Community Updates

Our Sunday livestream is our primary way to worship during the Covid-19 social distancing while we’re out of the building. We see the people of Hope Chapel as the “church” not our building that houses us when we meet. So come be a part of our church.

Check out hope.org for more events happening on Zoom and WebEx weekly also.

To contact church staff, look on our About page.

  2. Sunday Morning Livestream for 2020Mar29 at 10AM

    Community Updates

This Sunday the livestream will be our primary way to worship. This is part of Hope Chapel’s decision to shepherd our health by canceling gatherings at the church building. Please feel free to share this link freely. To watch, click on the underlined link.

  3. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

    Community Updates

https://hope.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Christmas-4x6-Eve-1.jpgCome as you are: dressed for photos in front of the tree or with the kids in pajamas. Begin a tradition with us Christmas Eve at 5:00 PM. Bring your family and friends to sing the carols and hear the story once again of when Hope came as a human and lived among us. Then stand in the darkness as the first candle is lit and see it slowly spread across the room, candle to candle. Until at last, enveloped in the glow, we remember when The Light came into the world and pierced the darkness.

  4. FALL GIFTS NIGHT • Friday, November 8th • A Less Stressed, More Blessed Night 7-8:30 PM

    Community Updates

What Talents Have You Been Hiding? Sign-Ups Have Begun. This talent show requires you sharing your talents!

We have poetry, a song, and a slide show already in the list!!

Sign up with the curator, Cathy Tucek, today! 🎨 🎭💃🏽🕺🏼꠫🎤🤹🏻‍♂️🤣😢

It doesn’t have to be perfect, just yours! Some talents are amazing performances from those with lovely voices and others are hilarious chances to laugh at your Hope Group’s Kazoo Band. It’s a variety show in which you provide the variety.

    WHAT GIFTS CAN I SHARE?
Poetry, stand-up, a song, a dramatic reading, a comedy skit, and LOTS of silliness! In the last one, we had:
    • a funny song like Dorman WorshipMadLibs ala J &JP Cogdell
    • dramatic reading of a poem (your own or a favorite) ala Kevin Daniel, Mark Kovach or Liz Morgan
    • a choral group or solo piece or band ala Scott McDonald and Gang or Judah Lathem
    • a comedy interp ala the Fischers
    • a gravity-defying, prat-falling mime of the a certain dog flying in battle in a sopwith camel biplane ala Joe Friedman
    • a slide show with humorous comment ala Thomas Cogdell
It’s license to do something crazy, fun, and outrageous or to showcase a hidden talent that you have that your friends like!

    WHAT IT’S NOT
Not your first violin recital or an act randomly thrown together that wouldn’t have been entertaining even with rehearsal. Go with a basic skill level (juggling while eating an apple) or something funny/entertaining that doesn’t need much skill (your Hope Group‘s cheerleading cheer).

THINK: what can I do that will help people be less stressed or more blessed?

    WHO CAN SIGN UP?
Hope Groups are encouraged to do a song or skit together (include your kids).

Solo acts are welcome. We’re looking for variety.
