Community Updates

Hope community happenings.

  1. Planning Your Weekend? Add in our Training for Walmarting on Saturday Night.

If you are interested in going on our prayer-walking outreach called “Walmarting,” but would like to learn more about how prophecy and evangelism can work together, come learn from Diane Wall this Saturday from 8:30 – 10:00pm. You do NOT have to go out on a team that night. We will stay in the Lighthouse and encourage one another in the practice of encouraging words, praying in public, prayer-walking & listening to God’s prompting.

  2. World Welcome Furniture Give Away on August 16th

Students come from around the world to go to UT and they come without household goods. Let’s fill their apartments as a gift from the Body of Christ. This year Hope Chapel’s World Welcome joins with several other student ministries to host a house-stocking day on August 16th at Hope Chapel. But it only works if you bring stuff for students. So start saving furniture, household items, and small appliances. More info to come…

  3. Worship Night This Friday

Set your alarm now for this Friday’s Worship Night at 7:00 PM…

Come spend two hours of focused attention on the Lord!

    Psalm 123:1,2
I lift up my eyes to you,
to you who sit enthroned in heaven.
As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the Lord our God,
till he shows us his mercy.

  4. Unceasing Prayer Third Friday Every Month

Hope Chapel is still covering the city in prayer one day a month but this year our day changes and we are praying on the 3rd Friday of the month, alongside The Austin House of Prayer. Pray in Hope’s prayer room or pray at your workplace or home by choosing an hour between 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM.

The vision of the Unceasing Prayer Initiative is to see the Austin area covered in unceasing prayer (1 Thess. 5:17) until the Lord returns, a unified church with one heart to see God transform our city!

Contact Marty St. Onge if you’d like to sign up for an hour.
