  2. Sabina: Tortured for Christ, the Nazi Years (March 4)

Join us for an amazing story of courage in obedience to God during a horrific time in history. This couple, Sabina and her husband Richard Wurmbrand, were tortured and imprisoned for declaring their faith in Jesus and leading others to do the same. They left Romania in the early 1960s and eventually relocated to the US and co-founded  The Voice of the Martyrs.

Hope Chapel will provide childcare due to the content and images in the film. Childcare registration closes Feb 25.

  3. Film “Sabina: Tortured for Christ, the Nazi Years” Friday, March 4th

Friday, March 4th, 6–8:00 PM at Hope Chapel

The heart of the Gospel is forgiveness…

In this 2021 film, discover the amazing true story of Sabina Wurmbrand, a complex woman who discovers a love that fulfills, a love that endures, and a love that forgives. Set in the crucible of war-torn World War II Romania, the true story of Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand (founders of Voice of the Martyrs ministry) is a topsy-turvy adventure through romance, faith and sacrifice. Sabina is the prequel to the 2018 award-winning feature film, Tortured for Christ.

Admission is free. Film is rated PG13 for thematic content, some disturbing images and violence. With this in mind we are offering childcare for those families who have children under age or not mature enough for this movie.  Cost for childcare is $15 per family. The deadline for childcare and payment is Friday, February 25th. Register for childcare HERE.

  6. MOPS@Hope Spring Registration is Now Open

Here at MOPS@Hope, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come togetherOur acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because MOPS began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 48 years, MOPS has expanded our community to include moms with school-aged kids. In addition, we are partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 70 countries.

We meet right in your neighborhood and we’d love to meet you. Contact Corinne with questions. corinne. forrester@g mail.com
