The Christian celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection.

From the New Testament, the Gospel (Good News) of John, Chapter 20:

Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.

They asked her, ‘Woman, why are you crying?’

‘They have taken my Lord away,’ she said, ‘and I don’t know where they have put him.’

At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there…Jesus said, ‘…Go…to my brothers and tell them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’

Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.”

  4. Concert of Prayer for Turkey

Come join us in blessing the nation of Turkey, our Hope family who calls Turkey home, and the growing gathering of believers in Turkey. April 18 marks the 10 year anniversary of 3 workers who were martyred in Malatya for their faith. We will commemorate these servants, while prophesying and praying for what God is doing in Turkey now, and in the years to come.

There will be light snacks from 6:00- 6:45, followed by worship and prayer from 7:00- 8:15. All ages are welcome! Please visit us in Hope’s sanctuary on Tuesday, April 18.

  5. Celebration of the Psalms

    Artists, poets and song-writers:

Spend time in the Psalms as we enter the New Year, and work to write or create something from time spent there.  Come on April 28 and share it with Hope Chapel!
