We will host our biennial Furniture Giveaway to bless international students on Saturday, August 16th from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Please hold on to your furniture and gently used household items (bedding, appliances, kitchenware, etc.) and bring them to the church to donate the week of August 11th-15th between 6-9:00 p.m.
What other help do we need?
• Shuttle drivers: srive students to the church for the giveaway from designated locations
• Bakers: make cookies/treats (or buy them) to have at our Hospitality Table
• Greeters: serve people drinks and snacks from our Hospitality Table
• Movers: help move heavy stuff into trucks and take it to students’ homes
• Traffic Control: help guide students through the giveaway area
• Box tapers: help tape up boxes for students to fill
• Trucks/Large vehicles: donate your truck/vehicle to take students home with their stuff
• Clean-up at the end of the day
