What's new at Hope.

  1. Arts Council Meeting

Arts council lunch meeting, immediately after the Sunday service.

  2. FAM Testimonies & Take-aways

    Extend your family night childcare!

On May 18 & 25 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm FAM will host two evenings of sharing testimonies of God’s work through foster care and adoption. All of Hope is invited! Feel free to invite non-Hopeites who might be interested as well.

Dinner for adults will be provided and childcare for those 5th grade and under.

These evenings are great places to start if you are

    • wanting to hear more about FAM

    • learn about the ways God brings families to foster/adopt

    • simply be encouraged about what God is up to in our community

On May 18th hear from parents both inside & outside Hope’s community about how they became involved in foster care/adoption and specific ways they have seen God move.

On May 25th a representative from Hope’s partner organization, Fostering Hope (iamfosteringhope.org) will present tools for us as a congregation to partner alongside these families and welcome more foster and adoptive parents into Hope’s midst.

*Deadline for Childcare Registration is May 10th

  3. Child Dedication and Parenting Conversation

Join Pastor Matt Ryniker, Children’s Ministry director Hala Tompkins, and Cosmo and Suzi Raines for an encouraging morning on the important things of life. We’ll cover the “why” of dedicating children, the value of investing in your home life and how to resolve differences between you and your spouse. All in one morning!  And childcare is provided.

Sign up for the class and for childcare by emailing hala.

  4. Defined Teen Girls’ Bible Study

Join us on Tuesday mornings this summer for a Teen Girls’ Study going through the book Defined, by Priscilla Shirer, starting Tuesday, June 7th from 9:30-11:30 AM. This study will be led by Sarah Combs, Holly Tran, Melody Ott, and Ceci Proeger.
This is a space for girls (and their moms if they want to join) to hang out, laugh and talk about what it’s like to be a teenager in this day and age.
Sign up for the study or for more information or for childcare for your younger children on this form or send an email to scombs2000@gmail.com.
