God of deliverance: A study of Exodus 1 – 18 by Jen Wilkin

“Blessed be the Lord, who has delivered you.” —Exodus 18:10

The exodus of the Israelites shapes our understanding of the whole Bible, its themes reverberating all the way to Revelation. Exodus is the birth narrative of a nation unmistakably guided by the Great Deliverer.

In this 10-session verse-by-verse study of Exodus 1–18, We will study how Israel’s story is our story: the same God who delivered Israel also delivers all those He loves from slavery to sin and from service to the pharaohs of this world. He lifts our eyes to the promised land He has prepared where we dwell with I AM and worship Him as the one true God.

  4. Geno Hildebrandt Retirement Celebration

Geno is retiring as Senior Pastor – though he and PJ aren’t going anywhere and will still be part of Hope Chapel, let’s honor them at a special evening service and a dinner reception following.

Come honor Geno for his years of service to Hope Chapel as her senior pastor. We’ll begin in the Main Auditorium with a brief program to honor Geno – starting with a skit from Thomas Cogdell that is not to be missed and sure to be full of humor! Reminiscences, prayers and blessings from a few of Geno friends and our congregation will round out the service. We close the evening with a dinner reception in the Family Room.
