What's new at Hope.

  1. Sunday Morning Livestream at 10AM

    DURING COVID -19 LIVESTREAMING

Our Sunday livestream is our primary way to worship during the Covid-19 social distancing while we’re out of the building. We see the people of Hope Chapel as the “church” not our building that houses us when we meet. So come be a part of our church. Click on the link or the image below

Check out hope.org for more events happening on Zoom and WebEx weekly also.

  4. Tuesday Bible Chat

TUESDAY BIBLE CHAT @ 6:30 PM
Geno Hildebrandt, Hope’s Senior Pastor, has begun a series of weekly Zoom Bible Chat meetings. Each week, he’ll take up a topic and ask the question, “What does the Bible say about that?”

Geno will start by offering his own reflections on the matter and then throw the conversation open to all those who have gathered. While there will be some teaching involved, Geno’s desire is for our community to serve one another with wisdom and insight through this process as we listen well to each other.

    JOIN THE ZOOM BIBLE CHAT
Tonight during our Tuesday Bible Chat we will revisit this issue with a close look at 1 Corinthians 8 and the matter of meat offered to idols serving as our Biblical Background.

The conversation will begin at 6:30 pm and end on or before 8:00 pm.

You can join the Zoom meeting as early as 6:20.

See you soon.  The full Zoom invitation is in a document attached below, if the link above does not work for you.

  6. What is “Agape” Love?

Geno talked about “agape” love in his sermon today – the word used in John 13:34-35, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Here’s an explanation of  what “Agape” love is from the Bible Project:
