What's new at Hope.

  1. Cambodian Lunch with the Martins

Andrew and Katie Martin are on a short visit back and will be sharing about their time serving in Cambodia. Please join us in the family room for a traditional Cambodian meal this Sunday, Jan 12. RSVP on the Realm.

  2. MOPS at Hope

MOPS is a ministry to Mothers of Preschoolers in Austin. At MOPS, we create a space for you to get to know other moms and participate in a small group of women that truly cares for each other. There’s also a learning time and food, all while your little ones are in the MOPS Kids program (4 months through pre-k age).  Teaching, by both experienced moms and professionals, covers topics such as but not limited to womanhood, marriage and family.

We won’t let COVID-19 keep us from connecting with each other! We can’t gather as usual, but we’ll still meet virtually. Contact Hala for info on how to view the video for the week and join the table conversations.

  3. HopeArts Gallery Opening

“Incarnation,” a new show by Loie Archer, opens on Thursday, January 16th, 7:00 P.M. in the Hope Chapel Sanctuary Gallery. This show is a catered gallery show, offering a musical  performance component and an interactive artist Q & A. Archer’s work invites the audience to contemplation and explores different stages of life. Through viewing the pieces of the show as a whole, in the context of the music, the audience encounters the mystery of creativity .

  4. Lunch with the Littlefields

Our lovely friends are visiting the states and have much to share about their service abroad! Please join us in the family room on Jan 19 after the service for lunch and conversation. We will have a time of sharing, Q&A, and plenty of hugs to go around! RSVP on the Realm.

  5. Hope 101 – January 24th

Are you new(ish) to Hope Chapel and want to learn more about who we are and what we believe as a church? Would you like to meet our pastors and share a meal? Have you been coming to Hope awhile and want to know more about our vision, values, and mission? Would you like to meet some other new(ish) folks at Hope Chapel?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, Hope 101 is for you!
Hope 101 is a relaxed time of conversation and a free meal. We’ll serve you dinner and then you’ll have a chance to discuss the in’s and out’s of Hope with Geno Hildebrandt (senior pastor), his wife P.J. and Matt Ryniker (associate pastor).
Please email Suzi to RSVP – suzi_deanne@hotmail.com.  When you reply, please indicate how many will be attending so we can make sure there is enough food for all! In addition, please indicate if you have any food allergies. This is not a child-friendly event, so we ask that you make arrangements for your children that evening. If you need help with the cost or finding childcare, please let us know ASAP.
  6. Board Game Night

It’s our 2nd Board Game Night of 2020. Same deal as last time, bring: your family, bring your friends, your friend’s friend. Bring anyone who would enjoy a good night of fellowship as well as anyone who you would like to introduce to the Hope Family.

    WHEN?
Friday, January 31st from 5:30-10:00 PM – Come and go as you please.

    WHERE?
The Den (upstairs) at Hope Chapel

    WHAT TO BRING?
Bring any games you would like to play and finally just bring a good fun-loving attitude.

    WHY?
To increase the brotherly and sisterly bonds between Hope members and to serve as a chance to bring in friends, co-workers, and neighbors to get to know some people.

    KIDS WITH YOU
There is no childcare so younger children who are too young to participate can come but must be taken care of by their parental authority.

    RSVP ON THE FORM
Also, super important, fill this out so I can plan around how many people are coming and what people are bringing. Please fill out the form at this link to let me know you are coming and what to expect.

Last event was a blast. We had a great crowd and lots of fun was had, and with the nature of repeat gatherings they only get more effective and meaningful with time. So come on out and let’s have a blast.

Feel free to email me any questions.

    Thanks,
    Wes
