What's new at Hope.

  1. Brett & Kay Hart Celebration

We’re hosting a blessing/release party for Brett and Kay Hart on Sunday, January 27th immediately following our Sunday morning service.

For those of you who don’t know, on Sunday, January 13th, Brett made public his decision to resign from Hope Chapel staff to pursue other interests. If you missed it, you can see his announcement here. Brett’s begins speaking at the 1:30:00 mark.

Let’s ask God to bless these well-loved fellow workers who have journeyed with us and now are traveling a new path. Please make plans to attend and bless our friends.

  2. Men’s Meeting

There are two time slots to choose from: 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

All the men are invited! There’s much to do and discuss (such as coming up with a cooler name for this than Men’s Meeting?). We’ll also set future dates, activities, and priorities – Jesus, the Word, praying, ministering – and enjoy authentic fellowship!

  3. HopeArts Gallery Opening

Gallery reception event for current, themed art-show in the Hope Chapel Sanctuary Gallery, from 6:30 – 9:00 P.M. Event includes catering and performance by different artists. No childcare provided. See blog on Realm, Hope.Org, and Hopearts.org for Gallery Statement and Artist(s) information.

  4. Seek God for the City Begins

40 days of prayer for the City from Ash Wednesday to Palm Sunday, March 6-April 14

Prayer Guides are available in the Hope Chapel foyer and coffee shop area (suggested donation $1) — or download the app (only .99¢) which contains all the material of the printed booklet — and lots of extras! Available for Apple, Android and Kindle Fire phones and tablets. For more information visit the Waymakers website.

Prayers that anchor your hope in God.

Seek God for the City is designed to mobilize many to pray with united, sustained vision for people of your community. The daily prayers are all new and different from last year’s prayer guide. The scriptures and topics help God’s people pray with passionate, full-hearted hope. This timely guide helps us pray beyond ourselves with confidence and clarity.

  5. Congregational Meeting

Come eat supper 5:30-6:15 and then hear an update on finances, our building, future events in the 6:30 congregational meeting. Program for children ages infant-Jr. High. No adult hope groups will meet.

Please RSVP for the 5:30 meal, so we have an accurate count. Child care is available by reservation. The deadline to RSVP for both is midnight Sunday, March 24th.

NOTE: Please RSVP for the meal and child care even if you normally attend Family Night. RSVP using the form below. Be sure to click “Submit” at the bottom:

We regret that the deadline to RSVP has passed.

  6. Neighborhood Open House

We’re so excited to have the neighbors over to check out our new digs at our Open House on March 31st from 12:30-2:30 p.m.!

We’ll have a bouncy house, live music, and videos about the various ministries at Hope Chapel playing in the newly remodeled classrooms. We’ll have a food truck or two, and some homemade goodies. We’ll be sharing details about our summer camp (Discover 252) and Good News Club; offering prayer and pet blessings; and giving away some freebies to our Guests.

    Hope to see you there!
