What's new at Hope.

  1. Hope Chapel Campout at Egret Isle Farm

The Great Hope Camp Out October 27th

    4PM Friday to 4PM Saturday

Come to the The Great Hope Camp Out, October 27th (Friday night) at the homestead of Brett and Kay Hart, Egret Isle Farm. We are working out the details of a fish fry with everyone for lunch on Saturday, but go ahead and mark your calendars for 4pm on Friday, October 27th–Saturday around 4pm.

Bring your tent, lawn chairs, outdoor games and quick-and-easy food for your family for Friday evening and Saturday morning. This will be a relaxing, unrushed time together with no agenda other than maybe hanging around a camp fire sipping hot cider or playing a pickup game of kickball or singing along to someone’s guitar playing. Basically just enjoying being together in God’s great outdoors!

RSVP for lunch now! Email Amy Ponder.

  2. Morning of Focused Prayer with Steve Hawthorne 8:55-11:55 AM

A long-time member of Hope Chapel, Steve is a mission/prayer mobilizer with WayMakers. He is internationally known for his teaching on prayer, having taught on and led prayer efforts around the globe.  He will lead us as we pray together on Saturday morning, 8:55-11:55 AM.

“Come help us as we work together in groups to form prayers from scripture.  Some prayers we will sing, some we will pray, and come away knowing we have more to pray than we thought.”

We are sure to be encouraged and challenged, even energized and renewed.  Lord, let your kingdom come and let your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!

RSVP to deb@thedormans.com for breakfast tacos at 8:30 AM!

CHILD CARE will be provided, by reservation. The deadline to reserve child care is Sunday, November 5th. To RSVP for child care, fill out the form below, scroll to the bottom and click “Submit”

We regret that the deadline to reserve child care has passed.

  3. Claire Sullivan’s YWAM Fundraiser

This spring our very own Claire Sullivan will be on her way to a six-month YWAM Discipleship Training School in Hawaii.  She will be leaving on January 4, 2018 and will be gone for six months.

Claire is having a fundraiser on Friday night, December 1 from 7-8:30PM at Hope Chapel. She will share what the Lord has been doing in her life to prepare her for this step.  She will also bring some art and baked goods to sell, and she will share some songs she has written. Some of Claire’s youth group friends will also share testimonies.  We hope you will come and support Claire as she prepares for this adventure.  Tax deductible gifts can be made out to Hope Chapel with “YWAM fundraiser” in the memo.

  4. Churchwide Christmas Program

Our annual churchwide event of Scripture, song and great joy! Join us as we celebrate the birth of the Redeemer with Lessons and Carols.

  5. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Come as you are: dressed for photos in front of the tree or with the kids in pajamas. Begin a tradition with us Christmas Eve at 5:00 PM.  Bring your family and friends to sing the carols and hear the story once again of when Hope came as a human and lived among us. Then stand in the darkness as the first candle is lit and see it slowly spread across the room, candle to candle. Until at last, enveloped in the glow, we remember when The Light came into the world and pierced the darkness.

  6. Men’s Retreat

Announcing the first (in a long time) Hope Chapel men’s retreat! The retreat will be held at Twin Lakes YMCA Camp at 2300 South Bell Blvd, Cedar Park TX 78613. We will begin at 7 pm on Friday evening and wrap up by noon on Sunday.

Over the course of the weekend we will be talking about “The five liberating truths!” What are the five liberating truths? You will have to come to the men’s retreat to find out!

Contact Brett Hart for more information and to sign up.
