What's new at Hope.

  1. Congregational Meeting

Join us this evening for Hope’s Fall Congregational Meeting from 6:00-7:30PM (Family Night resumes the next week).

Join the meeting for information from our senior pastor, Matt Ryniker. a financial report from the Board, and discussion of future plans for our congregation.

If you do not usually attend Family Night but would like to bring your children to the Wednesday Night Kids’ Program that evening, please email Hala to register your kids. We are expecting our regular Wednesday evening attenders already so no need to register current attenders.

  2. Work Day

At this work day we will be doing a lot of outdoor cleanup. The lighthouse garage, debris around the building, plantings, etc.

There will be plenty of work inside too if that is more your style. Contact Wes Neely for more details or if you have a specific urge to tackle a problem that you have noticed at Hope.

  3. Parent/Child Dedication Class

    Dear Parents of Hope,

Have you recently added a child to your household? Is it time for you to dedicate yourself to raising this little person in ways that honor the Lord Jesus? Are you looking for support and encouragement as you labor to create a Christian home for your family?

You are invited to join Pastor Matt Ryniker in a conversation about why we dedicate our children and how we can walk out our commitment faithfully. We’ll also discuss common parenting issues and have a time of questions and answers. Couples are encouraged to attend these classes together.

We will meet on Wednesday, October 25 from 6-7:30pm.

The dedication service is scheduled for Sunday, November 12, 2023

Sign up for the classes and childcare by contacting Hala.

  4. Safe Families 101

Safe Families is a national movement mobilizing churches to aid in the care of vulnerable families in their communities.

Safe Families works to keep children from entering the child welfare system by supporting and strengthening families facing crisis situations.

At Hope Chapel on November 4th from 9am-1130am, Safe Families-Austin will host an information and training day to equip local churches to engage with this movement.

Childcare is provided. For more details contact Mandy Ryniker, Coordinator of Foster Adoptive Ministries (FAM).

  5. Brentwood Teachers & Staff Thanksgiving Luncheon Feast

Brentwood Teachers & Staff Thanksgiving Luncheon Feast

Every year Hope Chapel prepares a Thanksgiving Feast for the Brentwood Elementary teachers and staff. They plan their schedules so they can break away, slip across the street and dig in! This year’s feast is in the Family Room: Tuesday, November 14th, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

    How You Can Participate:

    • Provide a side dish.

    • Come meet and greet our guests from across the street.

    • Visit with the teachers and staff at table.

    • Come set up, help, or clean from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lots of prep: table and chair set up, decorating, and food prep to be ready by 10:30 a.m. or help refill dishes, heat food, and work in the kitchen or stay to clean up.

Look for a sign-up on Realm to help. Let’s show them another great big “Thanks” for we do give thanks to the God and Father of us all for their work in the lives of the elementary kids at Brentwood.
