  1. Memorial Service for John Michael Wall

John Michael Wall’s family invites you to his memorial service on Saturday, April 1st at 2:00 p.m. in Hope’s sanctuary/main auditorium. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that people come, reflect, and rejoice together over John Michael’s well-lived life. The memorial service will be followed by light refreshments in the Family Room.

John Michael passed away on January 18, 2023. He may be best known at Hope Chapel for the amazing meals he made for events and the beautiful artwork he created here.

  3. Good Friday Service

Our Good Friday service is April 7th from 6-8:00 p.m. and includes seven friends from our community reflecting personally over the Seven Last Phrases Jesus uttered from the cross. It is always a very beautiful and poignant time together. Please feel free to bring friends.

What is Easter all about? Jesus – God’s One and Only Son

From the Gospel (Good News) of John, Chapter 20, in the New Testament of the Bible:

“Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.

They asked her, ‘Woman, why are you crying?’

‘They have taken my Lord away,’ she said, ‘and I don’t know where they have put him.’

At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there…Jesus said, ‘…Go…to my brothers and tell them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’

Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.”
