What's new at Hope.

  1. Taizé Worship Service

Occurring every 3rd Sunday of the month (except for holidays), beginning at 7:00 P.M. the Taizé Service is a contemplative, liturgical service following the lectionary calendar. Numerous moments of silence, liturgy, and lectio divina readings are built into an aestheticaly oriented prayer service. Taizé Services closely follow the French Taizé Community model, a community which began in 1940, and currently boast a community of 100 Catholic and various Protestants who live their lives together as, “a sign of reconciliation between divided Christians and between separated peoples.”

  2. Kids Worship Practice

Calling all our young musicians: Join us for our monthly Kids Worship practice. Bring your instrument and your N2W folder and join us in the Den.

    Contact Hala for more information.

  3. Sunday School Helper Training

All junior high and high school students who want to help in a HopeKids’ class on Sunday mornings are invited to join Mrs. Hala for a brief training session. We’ll discuss what makes a helper truly great, how to become a regular helper, and what other opportunities are available for those who don’t want to actually be in a classroom.

We will meet in the Lighthouse at 12:15 and be done by 1pm.

RSVP to Hala or just show up. All are welcome.

  4. MOPS Bounces and Bubbles

Join MOPS@Hope families for a Labor Day fun day. We’ve planned a morning of bouncing, bubbles and fun for the whole family. Come meet MOPS moms and dads and register for the new MOPS year. Everyone is invited to this event.

We’ll meet on Hope Chapel’s playground from 10-noon.

In case of rain, we’ll move inside the building and keep the water outside.
