What's new at Hope.

  1. MOPS at Hope Splash Day

Join us at 9:30 am on Hope’s playground for water fun on Labor Day. Dads are welcome to join us!

  2. Family Night Begins

First Night of Family Night for the Fall 2020 semester.

    Are you looking for connection?

    For friends and family?

For people who miss you when you’re not there?

For someone to follow God with?

Family Night makes a space for adult Hopites in small groups to meet weekly and provides a concurrent, fun, & biblical kids’ program. The Junior High youth group also meets during the same time.

    MEET AT HOPE
Some Hope Groups prefer meeting in homes but Hala Tompkins, our Children’s Ministry Director, mentions, “…when kids outnumber adults, Family Night is a great way to meet together and care well for your young kids.”

    COVID-19 ADAPTATIONS
No meal will be served prior to small group meetings at 6:30. Inside the building, all adults are required to wear masks. If anyone in your household has been ill in the past week, please keep your whole family home until all are healthy.

CURIOUS AND NEED MORE INFORMATION ABOUT GROUPS?
Contact Matt Ryniker, Associate Pastor, to help you find a small group to walk through life with other believers in Jesus. Some groups meet in homes rather than at Hope’s Family Night.

  3. Women’s Fall Books & Breakfast

God of Creation: A Study of Genesis 1-11

It all began with the Word.
The opening chapters of Genesis teach us fundamental truths about God. We watch Him bring
light after darkness, order after chaos, and rest after toil—all through the power of His Word.
Over 10 sessions of Jen Wilkin’s verse-by-verse study, dive into Genesis 1-11 by following three
critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. Revisit familiar
stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in
the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves
when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator.

  4. Sunday Morning Livestream at 10AM

Join us for our livestream service with worship (singing) and the Bible explained in a sermon this Sunday at 10:00 AM. Invite someone to the service with you. Please feel free to share the link:

You can also find us by looking for “Live” on our YouTube home page at youtube.com/hopechapelatx

Our Sunday livestream is our primary way to worship during the Covid-19 social distancing while we’re out of the building. We see the people of Hope Chapel as the “church” not our building that houses us when we meet.

Check out hope.org for more events happening on Zoom weekly also.

To contact church staff, look on our About page.

  5. MOPS at Hope

Our regular monthly MOPS meeting will meet in person this month. Childcare is available by reservation only. Join us for coffee, breakfast and conversation.

If you prefer to meet via Zoom, contact Hala for the link.
