What's new at Hope.

  1. Churchwide Christmas Party

Our annual churchwide event of Scripture, song and great joy! Join us as we celebrate the birth of the Redeemer with carols, cookies and lots of fun for all ages, including our traditional (and special) singing of  “The 12 Days of Christmas”! Bring a couple dozen holiday cookies to share.

  2. International Lunch

Join us for lunch as we catch up with some of our field workers visiting from afar. Please RSVP on Realm (or to Ceci@theproegers.com) to ensure a sandwich from Jason’s Deli.

  3. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Come as you are: dressed for photos in front of the tree or with the kids in pajamas. Begin a tradition with us Christmas Eve at 5:00 PM.  Bring your family and friends to sing the carols and hear the story once again of when Hope came as a human and lived among us. Then stand in the darkness as the first candle is lit and see it slowly spread across the room, candle to candle. Until at last, enveloped in the glow, we remember when The Light came into the world and pierced the darkness.

  4. First Sunday in New Spaces

The time has finally come! We just received our final approval and January 20 will be our first Sunday back  in our new, beautiful building. If you are new to Hope, you probably don’t even remember having children’s classes or events in the building (we flooded in the Memorial Day floods of 2015). Our kids don’t either. This Sunday is the beginning of a new era at Hope Chapel. Don’t miss it!

Classes for kids in Kindergarten and younger are on the ground floor. The rooms will be marked to make it simple to find the one you need. Elementary classes will be held upstairs and will also be labeled.

Each child in our HopeKids program needs to be checked in at one of two kiosks: in the foyer on your way into the sanctuary or near the coffee shop. No matter the age of your child, please check them in and have them wear their name tag to class.

Children preschool-aged and younger can be checked in and brought to their classrooms at 9:50 on Sunday. Kindergarten and elementary grades will worship with parents and then be released to their classes.

As always, there will be friendly people in blue HopeKids t-shirts to help you in any way needed.

    Let the celebrations begin!

  5. Men’s Ministry Kick-off Meeting

Men, come for all or any part of the day! We’ll meet upstairs, in the room nearest the elevator!

Come share quality time and prayer and laughter and who knows what else as we share and shape our fraternal walk together.

    7:30 AM for “early-coffee-and-donuts/kolaches” types

    10-10:30 AM for the “I’m-the-sleep-in-and-have-a -brunch-together” type

2:00 PM or so for the more “how-about-after-lunch” types

    4:00 PM for “my-errands/sporting events-are-done” guys

  6. Brett & Kay Hart Celebration

We’re hosting a blessing/release party for Brett and Kay Hart on Sunday, January 27th immediately following our Sunday morning service.

For those of you who don’t know, on Sunday, January 13th, Brett made public his decision to resign from Hope Chapel staff to pursue other interests. If you missed it, you can see his announcement here. Brett’s begins speaking at the 1:30:00 mark.

Let’s ask God to bless these well-loved fellow workers who have journeyed with us and now are traveling a new path. Please make plans to attend and bless our friends.
