PlantR Mini Conference

Hope Chapel hosts occasional mini-conference for church planters in and around Austin.  They run from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. or so and are attended by ~60 people.

Remember to set your clock back by one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night. Wake up refreshed with an extra hour of sleep! See you more rested at Hope for worship tomorrow morning. .

Brentwood Staff Thanksgiving Luncheon

The Meal They Wait for All Year 

Every year Hope Chapel and Waymakers prepare a Thanksgiving Feast for the Brentwood Elementary teachers and staff: 75+ folks. They plan their schedules so they can break away, slip across the street and dig in! This year’s feast in the Family Room is on Wednesday, November 16th, 10:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.  

 • Cook a side dish. Mary Jo is overseeing so that we get a variety.

 • Talk to the teachers and staff

• Come meet and greet our guests from across the street.

• Come set up, help, or clean from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lots of prep: table and chair set up, decorating, and food prep to be ready by 10:30 a.m. or help refill dishes, heat food, and work in the kitchen or stay to clean up.

 To bake/cook or come the day of the event, email Mary Jo Rekedal. You can pick up an aluminum pan in the kitchen on Sunday to bring your food in.

Work Days in the Back Yard

Since Hopites want to help with the Repair Hope remodel, Scott McDonald has found a way for individuals to help. Three workdays: 4-hours each on Saturdays: November 19th, December 4th and 10th – 8:30AM- Noon. Join Scott McDonald those days.

You’ll work on landscaping changes within and around the playscapes and between the Lighthouse and the main building to address several items including drainage.
