What's new at Hope.

  1. Classroom Helper Training

All junior high and high school students who want to help in Sunday morning HopeKids’ classes are invited to join Mrs. Hala for a brief training session. We’ll discuss what makes a helper truly great, how to become a regular helper, and what other opportunities are available for those who want to serve but not in a classroom.

We will meet in the Light House at 12:15 and be done by 1pm.

RSVP to Hala or just show up. All are welcome.

  2. Kids Worship Practice

Calling all young musicians and N2Worship participants. Do you want to learn how to be part of a worship team and help to lead HopeKids in worship once a month?

Join Anne Tibbetts our first Kids Worship practice session in the Den, upstairs. We start at 10 and will end by 11:30am.

    Contact hala for more information.

  3. HopeKids Childcare Worker Training

Join us for dinner and training as we prepare for the new semester of HopeKids programs. We’ll meet at 6pm in the family room, eat together and strengthen our skills in caring for our kids.

This training is mandatory for our paid childcare workers. Any HopeKids volunteers who also want to attend are welcome.

    Contact Hala to sign up.

  4. MomCo 5k and Play Date

Join the MomCo for a low-pressure 5k run as we build endurance together. We’ll meet in Hope Chapel’s parking lot at 9:30 and then head over to Brentwood Park for a run. After our workout, we’ll recover on Hope’s playground and let the kids play.

For more details, contact Jamie or Katie.

  5. The MomCo Fall Fest

Join the MomCo for a non-scary dress up event on Hope’s playground. We’ll have a pinata, read some stories, and play games. Designed for preschoolers, but kids of all ages are welcome to participate with their moms.

In case of rain, we’ll meet in the Lighthouse

Contact Jamie or Katie for more details.
