  2. Seasonal Choir Sunday

    Community Updates

    Christmas Choir Sings This Sunday
    Come Worship With Them

Each Christmas season a group of Hopites spends weeks (on Mondays, and Saturday mornings no less) rehearsing special music for the seasonal choir worship service. Director Jennifer Boltz and our four part harmony choir will bless us with what they’ve prepared and join in leading worship with the Debbie & Jack Dorman worship team.

Come rejoice and be blessed! And bring a friend or neighbor or co-worker to enjoy the Christmas choir.

  3. Matt Ryniker Ordination

    Community Updates

    Let’s Join in Celebration

Matthew Ryniker Ordination and Cake Reception on Sunday, April 28th, 10AM

Matt is changing positions at Hope Chapel and becomes our Associate Pastor this Sunday, April 28th in the 10AM serviceafter he’s ordained.

Though the youth will miss him in his role as youth pastor, he’ll pick up other responsibilities that bring his many skills and gifts to bear for the entire congregation; he’s already been doing that as Outreach pastor. Mandy Ryniker finishes her nursing training in the next week and graduates also. They are together ready to walk in this new role.

Our Hopekids’ classes begin at 10AM. They’ll come back in at the end of the service so they don’t miss Matt’s ordination. Older kids can either sit on the floor up front or go be seated with their parents.

Come celebrate the gift that Matt is to Hope! A cake reception follows.

  4. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service from 5-6:00 PM

    Community Updates

Come as you are: dressed for photos in front of the tree or with the kids in pajamas. Begin a tradition with us Christmas Eve at 5:00 PM.  Bring your family and friends to sing the carols and hear the story once again of when Hope came as a human and lived among us.

Then stand in the darkness as the first candle is lit and see it slowly spread across the room, candle to candle. Until at last, enveloped in the glow, we remember when The Light came into the world and pierced the darkness.

  5. “Christmas in July” Friday & Saturday Performances at 7:30PM and Sunday Matinee at 2PM

Carnie Littlefield, and Chris Wooten from Hope, with guests Danny Glover and Kathy Glover (early Hopites) and Cat Phillips.
