Claire Sullivan’s YWAM Fundraiser, December 1, 2017

This spring our very own Claire Sullivan will be on her way to a six-month YWAM Discipleship Training School in Hawaii.  She will be leaving on January 4, 2018 and will be gone for six months.

Claire is having a fundraiser on Friday night, December 1 from 7-8:30PM at Hope Chapel. She will share what the Lord has been doing in her life to prepare her for this step.  She will also bring some art and baked goods to sell, and she will share some songs she has written. Some of Claire’s youth group friends will also share testimonies.  We hope you will come and support Claire as she prepares for this adventure.  Tax deductible gifts can be made out to Hope Chapel with “YWAM fundraiser” in the memo.

Ages 9 and older are welcome!  We will work and play to the glory of our Great God.  Our staff of seasoned worship leaders and experienced music educators are devoted to helping our students grow in their musical gifts and in their relationship to God through musical worship.  It is a rich two weeks which culminates in an hour of worship when friends and family are invited to join in.

If vacation or location prohibits your attending in July, Austin Oaks is hosting n2Worship Camp on July 30-August 10 in southwest Austin (near Mopac and William Cannon).

Christmas Choir practice on November 19 at 9am!

Since Hope Chapel is in renovation mode, we are changing choir practice time on November 19 to begin at 9am and to end by 10:30 so that, after practice, choir members who are able to can join in on the workday, which should already be in progress.  These are exciting times!

Singers, please mark your calendars and join us, one and all!!  Choir always proves to be fun and fruitful endeavor.

2016 N2Worship Camp Coming soon to Hope!!

2016 N2Worship Summer Camp, July 11-22

For ages 10 years and older, n2Worship Camp is a two-week camp (Monday through Friday, 9:30am-2:30pm) in which the n2Worship staff endeavors to help students grow in their musical skills and in worshipping God through musical worship. N2Worship provides instrumental and vocal lessons, daily devotional times, as well as opportunities to play in a worship band setting. Advanced students are also involved in song-writing and recording their songs, as well as leading in worship times.

Angela Brown’s Visual Arts in the Church Workshop, February 27, 1pm

Angela will be teaching us about the use of banners this coming Saturday, February 27 from 1-3 pm. We will meet in the Family Room at Hope where she will share from her deep reservoir of knowledge and experience.  Email deb@thedormans.com if you plan to join us.
