  1. Register here for the Tom Doyle Seminar this Saturday

    Community Updates

Join us for this seminar with Tom Doyle, international speaker and author of Dreams and Visions – Is Jesus Awakening the Muslim World? and  Breakthrough – the Return of Hope the Middle East. We will expand our understanding and gain tools to use as we seek to show God’s love to Muslims. Following the morning seminar we will have lunch together, then an outreach in the afternoon. Plan to come learn more about sharing the love of Jesus with your Muslim neighbors, coworkers and friends! There will be no child care provided for this event. A small charge of $5 includes your lunch and any supplies, payable at the door.

  3. Loving Muslims Seminar on Saturday, April 18th

    Community Updates

Today the Muslim world is in the midst of the greatest conflict it has ever experienced. Within the last ten years significant numbers of Muslims have been reached for Jesus Christ. International news continually highlights the latest wars within the Muslim world but the spiritual battle within the religion itself is the ultimate battle.

The seminar is on Saturday, April 18th at 9:00 a.m.-noon followed by lunch and an afternoon outreach until 3:00 p.m. with Tom Doyle. RSVP details will come later.

Reach out where you are here in Austin
You don’t have to travel to the Middle East to share Jesus with a Muslim. 4-7 million Muslims are estimated to live in America currently. Some are U.S. born citizens; others have come to the U.S. to experience peace and to seek a better life. Because of God’s sovereign love for these dear souls you may be blessed to have an individual or a family live near you who is a Muslim immigrant or a refugee. Our patient Lord whose will it is that no one should perish may be giving you the amazing opportunity to help them know what it means to have eternal life and peace with God through Jesus Christ.

    Our Speaker:
Tom Doyle has been involved in Middle East Ministry for 18 years and is the author of the popular books Dreams and Visions – Is Jesus Awakening the Muslim World? and Breakthrough – the Return of Hope the Middle East.

Tom graduated from Biola College in 1979 and Dallas Theological Seminary in 1983. After pastoring churches in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico for 20 years, he became the Middle East director for e3 Partners/I Am Second, a global church-planting ministry.

  5. Tomorrow Night – Thursday the 26th – Citywide Prayer Gathering at Hope with a time of blessing for Dan and Joann Davis and Hope Chapel

    Community Updates

This Thursday, February 26th at 7:00 p.m., Hope Chapel hosts a citywide prayer gathering. A number of Austin pastors wanted to, in addition to praying for the city, bless Hope Chapel for how God has used her in bringing churches together, and honor specifically, Dan and Joann Davis, for their ongoing passion of uniting pastors and congregations in joint prayer and ministry for Austin.

Every year a different city graces the cover of the Seek God for the City prayer guides and this year Austin is that city. So come join with as many people as we can fit in the building to bless our city with your prayers and be blessed by prayers for Hope Chapel.

  6. Ash Wednesday Services at noon and 7:00 PM on the 18th

    Community Updates

“I invite you, therefore, in the name of the Church, to the observance of a holy Lent, by self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting, and self-denial; and by reading and meditating on God’s holy Word.” – Book of Common Prayer,  p.265

We begin the observance of the season of Lent on February 18th with two Ash Wednesday services: 12:00 noon and 7:00 p.m. We will partner with our brothers and sisters at Christ Church in these services, as we have in the past several years.
