What's new at Hope.

  1. “Light Up the Church”: Remembering Kristallnacht

    Community Updates

On November 9, 1938, hordes of German paramilitary and citizens attacked Jewish citizens, their homes, schools, businesses, cemeteries and synagogues in what became known as Kristallnacht — the Night of Broken Glass

Over the last decade synagogues around the world have participated in leaving their lights on all night on Nov. 9th.  Churches worldwide are joining them to “let their lights shine in the darkness” Saturday, Nov. 9th in solidarity with the Jewish people, to stand against anti-semitism. At Hope Chapel, we will place about 50 “LED candles” in each of our windows visible from the streets, and yard signs out front indicating the purpose.

  3. Brentwood Elementary Thanksgiving Luncheon

    Community Updates

Every year Hope Chapel prepares the meal for the Brentwood Teachers and Staff – and they plan their schedules to break away, slip across the street and dig in from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM! They tell us that they look forward to this every year. This couldn’t be possible without YOU.

    Ways You Can Help

    1). Cook something!

2). Talk to the staff and teachers: come meet and greet our guests from across the street, and enjoy the meal at same time!

3). Come help Joelene set up, serve, and clean up: early to help me set up (9:00AM), volunteers to help keep the food flowing, AND help with clean up (1 – 2PM-ish).

    Thanks for serving, Hope Chapel!
