What's new at Hope.

  1. Stand in Prayer with Metropolitan AME Congregation

    Community Updates

    Dearly Beloved,

Tomorrow night, Wednesday, June 24, at 7:00 p.m. there will be a city-wide prayer meeting at the Metropolitan AME church located at 1101 East 10th Street.

Along with several other pastors in the city, I will be helping to lead concerted prayers for the unity of our city in support of the African Methodist Episcopal congregation in Charleston that suffered violence a week ago when nine people were gunned down during a prayer gathering.

Would you please consider altering your plans at this late hour and join us?

    Thanks,

    Geno Hildebrandt

  2. Austin Baptist Chapel donation drive begins Sunday

Donation Drive for the Austin Soup Kitchen
The third through fifth graders are collecting donations for the ABC Soup Kitchen. If you would like to be part of this donation drive, please bring your non-perishable food items, travel-sized toiletries, toothbrushes and (brand new) white socks to Hope by July 19 and leave them in the donation baskets in the foyer or coffee shop. The kids will take it from there.

If you have children ages 4-11, they are welcome to join us in Hope’s front yard next Monday through Thursday, June 22-25, for our Backyard Bible Club. A team of teens from Hill Country Bible Church will be leading the club each day. I guarantee it will be great! Club starts at 10am each day. Text Matt Ryniker and let him know how many kids you are bringing.
