  1. A Future and A Hope Adoption and Foster Care Conference

    Make plans for this conference in the new year: February 20th-21st at Austin Ridge Church. A Future and A Hope (AFAH) is sponsored by a network of church adoption ministries in the Austin area. AFAH serves couples and singles exploring adoption and foster care and post-adoptive families.

    Who Is This Conference For?
    • People who want to support the adoptive/foster care community
    • Couples and singles who are exploring foster care and adoption
    • Post-adoptive families who want to learn more and connect with other families

  2. IF Gathering – Feb 6&7 at Hope!

    IF THE THE PROMISES OF GOD ARE TRUE, THEN….

    We will meet for the February 6 & 7th  for the 2015 IF Gathering at Hope Chapel. Cost is $30 to cover meals and supplies. Dinner Friday, Snacks and light Breakfast  & Lunch Saturday included.We will start at 1:30 Friday, February 6th in the Sanctuary at Hope Chapel. Check in is in the coffee shop. Friday Night goes until 9:30 pm, so mom’s – make plans for a good babysitter or prep that hubby well.

    We will join with thousands of women around the world as we look into The Promises of God. Delve into the life of Joshua with us!

    We can’t wait to gather together and see the incredible ways God is moving and using each of you to gather, equip and unleash women in Austin.
    If you’d like to attend, please register here. You will need to give a small donation (even only $1) to help pay for the making of this event. If you cannot do that, please email Wendy and let her know. (Wendy’s email – foodchic@gmail.com)The cost for our local site event is $30 and includes all the handouts, dinner Friday night and lunch and snacks Saturday.  You will pay and order your lunch when you sign in on Friday. Checks or cash are fine. If you want to pay for a friend, just do so when you arrive.

  3. Birthday Party for Elizabeth Huss Sunday, Feb. 1st

    Our own dear Elizabeth Huss is turning 70! Come celebrate her beautiful life at a party in her honor on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 1st from 2-5:00 PM in the Family Room at Hope Chapel.

  4. Congregational Meeting Feb. 22nd

    Plan to attend one of two semi-annual gatherings of the Hope Chapel family to receive financial reports and hear from senior leadership about Hope’s direction into the future.

  5. Soup-er Bowl Charity Lunch Sunday, Jan. 25th

    Come for lunch and help support Imagine Art! Homemade soup lunch will be served in the Family Room following both morning services. You can purchase a handcrafted ceramic bowl, made by one of the artists of Imagine Art, then enjoy unlimited refills of homemade soup! All proceeds benefit Imagine Art’s daily lunch program that feeds the artists with disabilities in the community. Tickets are $10 & up, at the door.

    We begin the observance of the season of Lent on February 18th with two Ash Wednesday services: 12:00 noon and 7:00 p.m. We will partner with our brothers and sisters at Christ Church in these services, as we have in the past several years.

    Child care will be provided for children ages 6 and under by reservation for the 7:00 p.m. service only. The deadline to RSVP for child care is midnight on Wednesday, February 4th.
