8MM is an intimate, responsive venue for artists to present their works and receive audience feedback, and for all to enjoy soaking in a creative atmosphere. And the next one is October 11th from 6-8:30 p.m. Performance spots are still open; contact Kevin Daniel to sign up or for details. The evening is also a potluck so bring a reception-style dish or dessert.
Come join tonight, Sunday, September 14th at 5:30 p.m. in the Lighthouse. Be part of following Geno’s sermon series on the Church’s call to the orphan. We will share a meal and discuss how to get involved in our ministry, the upcoming events, and pray for the current and future foster and adoptive parents in our midst. The main dish will be provided; bring a side dish or dessert to share.
Come spend an extended time of worship and ministry this Friday, September 12th from 7-9:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome – invite your friends, former Hopites, and guests. We want to honor God and increase the praise going up from our planet to the One who is worthy of ALL praise.
Let’s prepare our hearts to spend this time in God’s presence: “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit.
