Latest Updates

  1. Sunday Classes at Brentwood Elementary School

Because of the imminent remodel of Hope Chapel, most of our children’s classes will take place across the street at Brentwood Elementary School this spring.

Parents with children between the ages of four and eleven can escort their children to the school and check them in with our children’s ministry volunteers there. You can bring your children as early as 9:45, so you don’t have to miss a minute of the adult service.

Children three and under will continue to meet on our campus in the Light House (near the playground) and can be checked into their classes as usual.

Remember that we use the check in app and you can check your children into their classrooms before you arrive at Hope on Sunday. Here is a short tutorial for parents trying to log in to Kidddo for the first time.

If you have questions about the move across the street or if you need help with checking your kids in or out of Kidddo, contact Hala.

  2. Parent & Child Dedication Class Scheduled for August 20

Calling all parents! Have you had a baby in the past few months or years? Have you considered publicly dedicating your child to the Lord Jesus? Hope Chapel’s next Parent and Child Dedication service is scheduled for August 28;  make plans now to attend class so you can participate in the service.

Join Pastor Geno Hildebrandt and Children’s Ministry Director Hala Tompkins for class on Saturday, August 20. We’ll discuss the significance of a public dedication ceremony and parents’ responsibilities in raising their children in the “fear and admonition of the Lord.”  There will also be time to talk about your questions and concerns about parenting and marriage. Couples are encouraged to attend this class together.

We will meet on Saturday, August 20, from 9:30 to noon.

Childcare is provided by rsvp. Use the form below to let us know you are coming.

Sorry. This form is no longer available.

  3. Christmas Program Dress Rehearsal– This Saturday

    Dear Parents of Hope,

For those of you who have children aged three and up, there is a great likelihood that they will need to be at the dress rehearsal for our Christmas program this Saturday, December 5.

According to the schedule, elementary kids will sing their first song at 9:45 and preschoolers (3’s, 4’s, 5’s, and kinders) will be singing about an hour later than that. If you have children playing on the worship team, they need to be at Hope by 8:30. Junior High kids who are readers also need to be at Hope by 8:30.

If you have both elementary and preschool children, you can bring your older kids and leave them in the care of Anne Tibbetts and then come back for the preschool rehearsal section. Also, you may want to have your child bring a book to read or a pad to draw on while they wait for their turn to rehearse.

The program is on Sunday at 6pm. Please plan on arriving at Hope no later than 5:30. Preschoolers can be brought to the sanctuary and elementary kids can go up to the den to warm up their voices with Anne Tibbetts.

What to wear: Long pants or skirts, dark colors or Christmas colors or just a nice outfit. Whatever you already own is great!

You can ask Nance more questions on Saturday at the rehearsal. Thank you so much for working with us to make great memories!

  4. Thank you for supporting Austin LifeCare and the kids of Hope

The baby bottle donation drive for Austin LifeCare was a big success! Thank you to all of you who brought your filled bottles back to Hope by August 23. We were able to deliver more than $700 to ALC this week.

Thanks for participating in this effort with the 3-5th graders of Hope Chapel.
